Advice to help you plan. It is not a requirement.

Studying in Europe after the Moroccan bac

This guide explains how a Bachelor's application works in Europe when you sit your bac in Morocco. It does not replace the official pages. It helps you know where to look, what to compare and what still needs checking on each programme page.

The five destinations covered

Jisr follows five countries for a Bachelor's degree for now.

France. With a Moroccan bac, a Bachelor's application runs through the Campus France procedure, on the Études en France platform. Parcoursup is only for French or European bacs.

Germany. A Moroccan Baccalauréat on its own does not grant direct entry to a Bachelor's programme. It is the route to the Studienkolleg and its final exam, the Feststellungsprüfung.

Netherlands. Central registration runs on Studielink, the official national portal. Some institutions use a different method for international students, to be checked with the institution.

Hungary. Applications for the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship run through the online system of Tempus Public Foundation. Enrolment without this scholarship is to be checked.

Italy. Visa pre-enrolment happens only on the Universitaly portal, the ministry's only free official portal.

The journey in four steps

Whichever country you pick, the process follows the same general order. Each step then depends on the exact programme.

  1. Describe your profile. Your bac, your languages and what you want to study.
  2. Compare realistic options. The programmes that seem to fit your profile, with what still needs checking.
  3. Estimate the cost and look for scholarships. Tuition, living costs and possible support.
  4. Prepare the application. Documents, deadlines and the visa.

Key dates and fees

These dates and fees come from the official pages cited below.

The Campus France page in Morocco lists, for connected programmes, an online application from 1 October 2026 to 15 November 2026 at 23:59 Moroccan time. This calendar depends on the procedure and the entry year, and it can change. Other French procedures, such as the DAP, have their own deadlines, to be checked on the page for the procedure concerned.

Assessment of your certificates by uni-assist costs 75 EUR for your first programme choice and 30 EUR for each additional programme in the same semester.

For the 2026-2027 campaign, the Stipendium Hungaricum deadline is 15 January 2026 at 14:00 Central European Time.

How to read a source

Every important fact on Jisr carries a label that says what kind of fact it is.

  • Official. A requirement published by a university or a public body. The link opens the original page.
  • Estimate. A range we work out from published figures. The real amount can differ.
  • General guidance. Help to plan, not a rule.

The label also shows the date of the last check. Information checked a long time ago is flagged.

What "to be checked" means

When a page says "to be checked", we have not found the answer on an official page, or the source does not publish that point. We say so instead of guessing.

Questions to settle before choosing

  • Which teaching language suits you, and which level is asked for.
  • Does the country expect a preparatory year before the Bachelor's.
  • What is the calendar for the application and the visa.
